Understanding fundamental systems
Exploring the principles that govern matter, energy, space and time, with a particular interest in theoretical models and fundamental physics.
Academic achievementsI am Deniz Alçar, an aspiring physicist beginning my studies in Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh. This portfolio presents my academic development, independent projects, robotics experience and growing interest in scientific research, mathematics and the fundamental principles that shape our universe.
My interest in science is driven not only by the search for answers, but also by the challenge of asking better questions. I approach learning as a continuous process of observation, analysis, exploration and improvement.
I am beginning my studies in Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh, with a strong academic interest in mathematics, scientific research and the fundamental principles that govern the universe.
My academic and extracurricular experiences have helped me develop intellectual independence, persistence, teamwork and creative problem-solving. Through mathematics programmes, robotics activities, science projects and independent study, I have learned to approach complex problems with patience, precision and curiosity.
My long-term goal is to contribute to research in areas such as particle physics, nuclear physics, relativity and the fundamental structure of matter and space-time. This website presents the projects, experiences and interests that continue to shape my academic journey.
